Superintendent J. D. Eggleston, jr., of the Asheville city schools, makes the following report of the school work for the third month of the term:

Bailey Street School.

Principal - Mrs. Fannie Featherston.

3rd B and 4th A grades, Mrs. Fannie Featherston - Pupils enrolled, 39; percent of attendance, 89; tardies, 5; pupils neither tardy nor absent, 6.

Roll of honor - Ernest Alexander, Lucian Surratt, Lueco Graham, Edith Alexander, Katie Stelling, Ethel Jones.

2nd and 3rd A grades, Miss Hatch - Pupils enrolled, 33; percent of attendance, 90; tardies, 26; pupils neither tardy nor absent, 9.

Roll of honor - Lizzie Williams, Carroll Creasman, Walter Jenkins, Colin Lee, Otto Brandly, Vernon Whitehead.

1st C and D grades, Miss Mary Kimberly - Pupils enrolled, 41; percent of attendance, 82; tardies, 19; pupils neither tardy nor absent, 7.

Roll of honor - Ethel Owenby, Annie Paris, Ella Surratt, Horace Allen, Sammie Rector, Edgar Saunders, Robert Vaughan.

1st A grade, Miss Drummond - Pupils enrolled, 38; percent of attendance, 91 1/2; tardies, 9; pupils neither tardy nor absent, 10.
