Superintendent J. D. Eggleston, jr., of the Asheville city schools, makes the following report of the school work for the third month of the term:

6th grade, E. B. Lewis - Pupils enrolled, 37; percent of attendance, 89; tardies, 1; pupils neither tardy nor absent, 20.

5th grade, Miss Coit - Pupils enrolled, 47; percent of attendance, 86; tardies, 8; pupils neither tardy nor absent, 17.

Roll of honor - Kathleen Coleman, Susan Crocker, Roma Courtney, Sallie Johnson, Carrie Ray, Parie Lee Sudderth.

4th grade, Miss S.M. Yeatman - Pupils enrolled, 32; percent of attendance, 87; tardies, 15; pupils neither tardy nor absent, 13.
