STVM students rate superior at State Science Day
COLUMBUS — Twelve students represented St. Vincent-St. Mary High School at State Science Day May 6 at The Ohio State University.
Nine of those students received “superior” scores, including Jacqueline Boltik, Lauren Epner, Emily Gaffney, Telisha Galizio, Michelle Hetson, Meghan Miloscia, Lindsey Neag, Allison Oborn and Caitlin Rickus.
Liz Herron and Erika Rowland received “excellent” scores, while sophomore Natalie Friess received “good” honors.

More than 1,000 students in seventh through 12th grades from nearly 300 schools were evaluated this year on their scientific research and communication skills and competed for more than 100 different scholarships and awards valued at more than $1.5 million.
