School notes
BATH — Revere High School’s Junior Engineering Technical Society (JETS) teams soared above the competition recently on the Test of Engineering Aptitude in Mathematics and Science at the regional competition.
The varsity team, comprised of Adam Caplan, Derek Carson, Michelle Chian, Suhail Dar, Matt Greyson, Michael Modon, Becci Weber and Brian White, placed first in its division and second overall out of the 72 public schools.
The junior varsity team, comprised of Dan Choi, Katie Erickson, James Fitzgibbon, Brian Six, Andy Smith, Michael Smith, William Tan and Alice Yu, also placed first in the division and second overall.
Both teams, led by adviser and Revere High School teacher Jeffery Shane, will now advance to state level competition.
