36 Receive Diplomas Graduated At St. Mary's School
Thirty-six students of St. Mary's elementary school were graduated in simple ceremonies during which the Rev. Raymond Seitz awarded diplomas.
Graduates were Joseph Barretta, Rosemary Barretta, John Besenti, Loreen Brezina, Kathleen Bush, Cathryn Cash, Gwendolyn Dickerson, Frederick Enderle, Cathleen Ford, George Fox, Patrick Gossom, John Herald, Christine Kapala, Thomas Kaufman, Paul Knackstedt, Sylvester Krebs, Magdalene Lederer, Michael Long, Vincent Malaska, Tamara Mauritz, Lena Mergel, Barbara Morris, Terrence Novacic, Michael Poland, John Porter, Vicki Rudrick, John Schambre, Arnold Schropp, Paul Sheeks, Timothy Stahiheber, Timothy Stoy, Rita Suman, Melanie Tamburrino, Celia Yoha, Nicholas Yosick and JoAnn Mincavage.
PUPILS HONORED
Honored during the program was John Herold who received the Good Citizenship badge presented by the Ohio Sottety Sons of the American Revolution.
Following graduation the graduates and their mothers were guests for a breakfast in the parish hall.
At that time trophies were presented to the following students: Michael Long, math; Vicki Rudrick, religion; Melanie Tamburrino, science; Nick Yosick, history; Magdalene Lederer, English; John Herold, music.
Perfect attendance pins were presented to John Besenti, John Herold, Paul Knackstedt, Sylvester Krebs, Magdalene Lederer, Michael Long, Lena Mergel, Vickie Rudrick and Timothy Stahlheber.
Eighth graders receiving superior ratings for the sixth six-week school term were Vickie Rudrick, Melanie Tamburrino and Magdelena Lederer.
