Local students honored at Peddie
Seven local students were honored at March 24 Founder’s Day ceremonies at the Peddie School.
Named as National Merit Commended Scholars were Benjamin Levy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Levy of East Windsor and Lindsay Watson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Watson of Hightstown.
Edward J. Bloustein Scholars were Cailin Papszycki, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Papszycki of Cranbury; Alexandra Kaufmann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dov Kaufmann of Hightstown; Thomas Conner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Conner of Hightstown and Benjamin Levy, who also was recognized as a member of the school’s Cum Laude Society.
Students honored for their election to The Gold Key Society (a community service organization) were Thomas Conner; Nicole Kaduson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Kaduson of East Windsor; and Robert Rhett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rhett of Hightstown.
The guest speaker at the ceremony was Dr. Mary S. Hartman, university professor and director of the Institute for Women’s Leadership at Douglass College, Rutgers University. She also serves on the Peddie School Board of Trustees.
