The Governor's School
nominees have been selected.
The two nominees are John
Phillips, a 10th grader, and
Tommy Henson, a junior.
Phillips is entering in the area
of mathematics, and Henson in
the area of science.
The Robin Hood players were
recently at RMA. The group,
which originated in Arizona,
presented "The Life of Thomas
Jefferson" for the entire
student body.
Congratulations to Lea
Ferebee and Jane Snead for
their nominations for Rotary
Club students of the month.
RMA is scheduled to participate
in the Area High School
Bowl Competition. The team is
composed of Tommy Whatley,
Sylvia Andracchio, John Phillip
Shearin, Lori Lewis, Louie
Nelson and Todd Smith.
Jim McCain is the coach for
the team.
The kindergarten recently
held a program for prospective
kindergarten families. The
program consisted of songs,
dance and various readings.
The Student Government is
planning a yard sale. The
profits will be split by the
parents' group and the upper
school Student Government
Organization.
