Clark Middle students honored (June 2002)
Clark Middle School held its annual honors night Thursday at the school.
Several students received the top awards.
Dustin Davis received the Brian McCleese Award; Ashley Nally received the Stacy Stidhman Award; Emily Roe and Ashley Wingate received the DAR Good Citizenship Award; Amy Roberts was recognized for the DAR Interview Contest; Joy Kearney, Rachael Patterson and Miranda Brown were recognized as TIP Scholars; John Tatum was recognized for the Geography Bee; National History Day honorees included Rachel Jackson, Hannah Johnson, Ashley Nally, Chelsea Ramey, Emily Roe and Whitney Scribner and Kentucky Jr. Historical Society winners included Jaclyn Farris, first place Historical Exhibit; Melissa Williams, first place Photography; Lauren Thornberry, first place Crafts; Brittany Hall and Ashley Wilson, second place Diorama; Alex Chugg, second place Historical Essay; Ashley Hewson, second place Genealogy; Sarah Puckett, second place Speech; Sarah Pfister, second place Historical Exhibit; Hannah Johnson, third place Diorama; Allyson Smith, third place Historical Exhibit and Eric White, third place Photography.
