Arlington Elementary students honored this week for achievements

At a convocation before the entire Arlington Elementary School student body Wednesday, students were honored for various accomplishments from last school year.

Students who took the spring 1997 achievement test and achieved the top 10 percentile in the third grade were Jessica Bruce, Thomas Grove and Hayley Scott. In the fifth grade, Cole Kratochvil received that honor.

Those in the top 3 percentile in the third grade were Evan Schulkey and Angie Knievel.

Madison Berg was in the top 1 percentile in the spring 1997 achievement test results.

Trevor Cucinello and Shawn Waegli were in the top 1 percentile in the fifth grade.

Straight 'A' students recognized were:

Grade 4 - Bryce Christensen, Kristen Schwarzlander and Nicholas Berg;

Grade 5 - Jennifer Anderson, Cole Kratochvil, Brianne Harris and Adam Loftis; and

Grade 6 - Heather Kahnk, Sarah Sibbernsen, Dustin Wilcox, Kristin Andreasen and Cory Dillon.

Those recognized for perfect attendance were:

Grade 1 - Heather Goodwin, Rebecca Goodwin, Taylor Johnson and Kaitlyn Schreck;

Grade 2 - Jared Becker, Ryan Brown, Kaycie Jensen and Erin Metzler;

Grade 3 - Madison Berg, Tiffany Fitch, Matt Holling and Chelsea Wilcox;

Grade 4 - Scott Neuhalfen and Chrystal Roberts;

Grace 5 - Cody Brown; and

Grade 6 - James Hamilton, Andrew Hokamp, Heather Kahnk, Megan McTwiggan and Jessica Russell.
