Three seniors at Logan County High School have been offered scholarships to attend Western Kentucky University.

Seth Jernigan Barnett, whose parents are Charles Q. and Jackie J. Barnett, received an Award of Excellence Scholarship and plans to major in engineering.

Brandon Nash, whose parents are Walter and Darlene Nash, received a Kentucky Scholars Scholarship and plans to major in business.

William M. Turner, whose parents are Kristine Kay Turner, received a Sarah Ruth Geurin Scholarship and plans to major in biology.

Univ. of KY students from Logan County on the University of Kentucky Dean's List, their majors and colleges are:

Keith Alan Carlson, now of Lexington, sophomore, pre-accounting;

Carol Martin Gatton, College of Business and Economics;

Zachary David Danks, Lewisburg, junior, natural resource conservation and management, College of Agriculture;

Julia Elizabeth Dodson, Russellville, senior, nutrition and food science/hospitality management, College of Human Environmental Sciences;

Melissa Lynn Grohovsky, Russellville, senior, management;

John Michael Marshall, Russellville, junior, accounting,

Adam Hayden Reed, Auburn, sophomore, secondary education, College of Education;

Ryan Edward Russell, Russellville, junior, secondary education, College of Education;
