Apollo High School

Yee-pei Lin, daughter of Winny and Kenneth Lin of 2253 Canonero Loop, Owensboro, was valedictorian of Apollo High School. She will attend Stanford University in California and is planning to major in economics.

Carroll Elizabeth Smith, daughter of Ronald and Donna Smith of 4631 Old Hartford Road, Owensboro, was salutatorian of Apollo High School. She will attend the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, majoring in political science.

Breckinridge County High School

Robert Webb Norton, son of Ron and Becky Berry of Vine Grove and Larry Norton of Stephensport, was valedictorian of Breckinridge County High School. He will attend Transylvania University as a pre-medicine major.

Scott Lee Pile, son of Gerald and Lynn Pile of Constantine, was co-salutatorian of Breckinridge County High School. He will pursue a degree in education at Murray State University.

Darrin Jeffries Pollock, son of Norman and Margaret Pollock, was co-salutatorian of Breckinridge County High School. He will attend Campbellsville University, majoring in music.

Daviess County High School

Cristin Boyle, daughter of Dale and Barbara Boyle of 2315 Black Oak Drive, Owensboro, was co-valedictorian of Daviess County High School. Cristin plans to major in engineering at the Washington University School of Engineering.

Ankur Shah, son of Manilal and Madhu Shah of 1124 Potomac Court, Owensboro, was co-valedictorian at Daviess County High School. He is enrolled in the Inte-Flex seven-year medical school program at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Sarah Howard, daughter of Michael and Cathy Howard of Philpot, was co-salutatorian at Daviess County High School. She is planning to major in education at Centre College this fall.

Patrick Riley, son of Vicki Philpott of 4021 S. Griffith Ave., Owensboro, was co-salutatorian at Daviess County High School. Pat will attend Centre College, majoring in international relations.

Hancock County High School

Sheryl Allison Estes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Estes of Lewisport, was valedictorian of Hancock County High School. She plans to major in accounting at Kentucky Wesleyan College.

Casie Elizabeth Woosley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Woosley of Hawesville, was salutatorian of Hancock County High School. She will attend the University of Kentucky and plans to pursue a biology major with a pre-medicine title.

Heritage Hills High School

Shannon Shanta Thake, daughter of Shanti and Thomas Thake of Santa Claus, Ind., was valedictorian of Heritage Hills High School. She plans to attend Indiana University in Bloomington and major in theater.

Tammy Sue Boeglin, daughter of Leroy and Karen Boeglin of Ferdinand, Ind., was salutatorian of Heritage Hills High School. She will attend the University of Indianapolis and major in earth-space science.

McLean County High School

James Lucas Searcy, son of Tony and Cindy Searcy of Calhoun, was co-valedictorian of McLean County High School. Luke plans to attend the Pontifical College Josephinum, pursuing a double major in philosophy and English.

Audra Renee Jennings, daughter of Robert A. and Pam Jennings of Sacramento and Renee Avery, was co-valedictorian of McLean County High School. She will attend Murray State University, majoring in history and political science.

Kristi Marie Reynolds, daughter of David and Pat Reynolds of Calhoun, was salutatorian of McLean County High School. She plans to attend Brescia University and major in pre-medicine.

Muhlenberg North High School

Heather Nicole Bryant, daughter of Eddie and Sherri Bryant of Central City, was co-valedictorian of Muhlenberg North High School. She plans to attend Western Kentucky University and major in pre-medicine.

Leah Brooke Johnson, daughter of Jim and Gail Johnson of Bremen, was co-valedictorian of Muhlenberg North High School. She will attend either Kentucky Wesleyan College or Western Kentucky University, and plans to major in either pre-optometry or pre-medicine.

Jacob Daniel McConnell, son of J.D. and Elenita McConnell, was co-valedictorian of Muhlenberg North High School. He plans to pursue a degree in biology or chemistry in college.

Robert Joseph Millay, son of Bill and Pam Millay of Central City, was co-valedictorian of Muhlenberg North High School. B.J. will major in biology at Western Kentucky University, then attend dental school.

Mindy Carol Williams, daughter of Rickie and Beverly Williams of Greenville, was co-valedictorian of Muhlenberg North High School. She plans to attend the University of Southern Indiana to pursue a career in occupational therapy.

Evan Matthew Sweeney, son of Albert and Martha Sweeney of Greenville, was salutatorian of Muhlenberg North High School. He plans to major in pre-pharmacy or biology at Murray State University.

Muhlenberg South High School

Anne Michelle Latham, daughter of Phillip and Sandra Latham of Greenville, was valedictorian of Muhlenberg South High School. She plans to attend the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, majoring in chemical engineering.

Andrew Joseph Dill, son of William and Paula Dill of Beechmont and Carol Dill of Stoney Creek, Va., was co-salutatorian of Muhlenberg South High School. He plans to attend Murray State University and major in pre-dentistry.

Jaclyn Marie Thomas, daughter of Charles and Ellen Thomas of Greenville, was co-salutatorian of Muhlenberg South High School. She plans to major in science at Centre College.

Kara Nicole Doss, daughter of Kenneth and Mary Lee Doss of Greenville, was co-salutatorian of Muhlenberg South High School. She plans to attend Western Kentucky University, working toward a degree in business.

Ohio County High School

Shawna Mae Raymond, daughter of Dwight and Martha Raymond of Beaver Dam, was valedictorian of Ohio County High School. She will attend Western Kentucky University and pursue a degree in chemistry.

Patrick Ryan Sandefur, son of Sam and Bennie Sandefur of Horse Branch, was salutatorian of Ohio County High School. Ryan plans to attend Kentucky Wesleyan College to study either physical therapy or mathematics education.

Owensboro Catholic High School

Zachary Stuart McCarty, son of Mr. and Mrs. John McCarty of 425 Hillcrest Dr., Owensboro, was co-valedictorian of Owensboro Catholic High School. He will attend Transylvania University and major in pre-medicine.

Ashley Kohl Rone, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Rone of 1605 Kentucky 279 South, Owensboro, was co-valedictorian of Owensboro Catholic High School. She will attend Transylvania University, majoring in human movement.

Owensboro High School

Jason Thomas Sauer, son of Thomas and Judy Sauer of 425 W. Parrish Ave., Owensboro, was valedictorian of Owensboro High School. He will attend Harvard University and pursue a degree in government.

Perry Central High School

Jerene Kunkler, daughter of Jerome and Marlene Kunkler of Route 1, Tell City, Ind., was co-valedictorian at Perry Central High School. Jerene plans to attend Purdue University.

Matt Labhart, son of Kenneth and Betty Labhart of Magnet, Ind., was co-valedictorian at Perry Central High School. He will attend Purdue University.

Sara Rothgerber, daughter of Anthony and Eva Rothgerbert of Tell City, Ind., was co-valedictorian at Perry Central High School. She is enrolled at Purdue University.

Abbie Schroeder, daughter of Mel and Patti Schroeder of Route 2, Ferdinand, Ind., was co-valedictorian at Perry Central High School. Abbie will attend the University of Evansville.

Kelly Goffinet, daughter of Daniel and Betty Goffinet of Route 2, Tell City, Ind, was co-valedictorian at Perry Central High School. She plans to attend the University of Evansville.

Kathy Hagedorn, daughter of Joseph and Marilyn Hagedorn of Tell City, Ind., was co-valedictorian at Perry Central High School. Kathy will attend the University of Southern Indiana.

John Meunier, son of Joseph and Mary Meunier of Bristow, Ind., was co-valedictorian at Perry Central High School. He plans to attend the University of Southern Indiana.

Julie Epple, daughter of Don Epple and Tonya Epple of Bristow, Ind., was co-valedictorian at Perry Central High School. Julie plans to attend the University of Southern Indiana.

Daryl Bruggeman, son of Mark and Debbie Bruggeman of Route 1, Tell City, Ind., was co-valedictorian at Perry Central High School. Daryl will attend Purdue University.

South Spencer High School

Angela Wood, daughter of Bill and Bobbie Wood of Rockport, Ind., was co-valedictorian of South Spencer High School. She will attend Indiana University and plans to major in physical therapy.

Jeffrey Bockelman, son of Kenneth and Linda Bockelman of Richland, Ind., was co-valedictorian of South Spencer High School. He will attend Purdue University, working toward a degree in engineering.

Brandon Michael Hurley, son of Dennis and Linda Hurley of Rockport, Ind., was co-valedictorian of South Spencer High School. He plans to major in engineering at Purdue University.

Laura Lee Richey, daughter of Robert and Darlene Richey II of Grandview, Ind., was salutatorian of South Spencer High School. She plans to pursue a degree in animal science at Purdue University.

Tell City High School

Joshua Glenn Lawalin, son of Randy and Perri Lawalin of Cannelton, Ind., was co-valedictorian of Tell City High School. He will attend the University of Missouri and major in electrical engineering.

Brandon Michael Ress, son of Mark and Cindia Ress of Tell City, Ind., was co-valedictorian of Tell City High School. He plans to attend Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, majoring in computer science and mathematics.

Justin Wayne Thomas, son of Wayne and Suzanne Thomas of Tell City, Ind., was salutatorian of Tell City High School. He will attend Purdue University and pursue a degree in engineering.

Trinity High School

Heidi Leanne Stiff, daughter of Ricky and Karen Stiff of Whitesville, was valedictorian of Trinity High School. She plans to major in social work at the University of Louisville.

Terra Suzanne Ward, daughter of Donnie and Paula Ward of Whitesville, was salutatorian of Trinity High School. She will attend Murray State University, studying pre-law.
