Garden City High School's Class of 2010 produced 32 honors graduates who had finished their senior year with grade point averages of 3.7 and higher.
Finishing in the top spot with a 4.1572 GPA was valedictorian Lindsay Williams. A member of the varsity volleyball team, Student Council, National Honor Society, honor guard and prom court, she plans to attend Oklahoma State University to study chemical engineering.
Placing second was salutatorian Linda Dunklee who had a 4.12 GPA. A member of the varsity swim team, Key club and National Honor Society, she plans to attend Central Michigan University to major in secondary education - mathematics.

Tyler Arban with a 3.8430 GPA. A member of the varsity soccer team, Key Club and National Honor Society, he plans to attend Marygrove College to major in psychology.
Sara Barackman with a 3.9119 GPA. A member of the newspaper her sophomore year and a tutor her senior year, she plans to attend the University of Michigan-Dearborn to study computer information science.
Brittany Berger with a 3.8619 GPA. A member of the varsity soccer team, she plans to attend Eastern Michigan University.
Alex Boyd with a 3.9381 GPA. A member of the varsity basketball, track, golf and cross country teams and National Honor Society, president of DECA, secretary of the Student Council and Cougar Cub guide, he plans to attend the International Academy of design and technology to study animation and game production.
Karen Brownell with a 3.7940 GPA. A member of the Key Club, EPIC and Student Council, she plans to attend Schoolcraft College for two years and then transfer to Eastern Michigan University to become a first-grade teacher.
Haley Buthovich with a 3.7633 GPA. A member of the Student Council and track, swim and diving teams, she plans to attend Schoolcraft College then transfer to Eastern Michigan University to eventually earn a master of business administration degree.
Rebecca Childs with a 3.9155 GPA. A member of the National Honor Society and the International Thespian Society, she plans to major in computer engineering at Embry-Riddle University in Prescott, Arizona.
Kourtni Davis with a 3/7908 GPA. A member of the One Way Club and Pro-Life Club in 11th grade and a newspaper staff writer, she plans to attend Schoolcraft College then transfer to a Christina university to study psychology.
Stefanie Drucz with a 3.7681 GPA. A member of the varsity tennis team, EPIC and National Honor Society, president of the Key Club, Student Council and Cougar Cub guide, she plans to attend Wayne State University and major in fine arts, fashion design and merchandising.
Evelina Dulgheru with a 3.7839 GPA. A member of the National Honor Society, Student Council and Ecology Club and bulletin editor for the Key Club, she plans to attend Wayne State University to major in the biomedical field (pre-medicine).
Steven Green with a 3.8555 GPA. A member of the track and field teams and featured in the prom fashion show, he plans to attend the University of Michigan-Dearborn to major in accounting.
Jennifer Johnson with a 4.0278 GPA. A member of the Art Club and a participant in the Design and Build Challenge, she plans to attend Lawrence Technological University to major in architecture and civil engineering.
Nathan Kalinowski with a 3.9875 GPA. A member of the varsity basketball, track and tennis teams and National Honor Society, senior class vice-president and Student Council junior class representative, he plans to attend Grand Valley State University's Honors College to study biomedical science.
Robin Kassis with a 4.0450 GPA. A member of the Student Council for four years, National honor Society and Cougar Cub guide, she plans to attend the University of Michigan-Dearborn to major in early childhood education in hopes of becoming a first-grade teacher.
Kimberly Kliever with a 4.0 GPA. A member of the girls' tennis team, National Honor Society and Key Club and president of the Ecology Club, she plans to pursue a career in civil engineering.
Miranda Linzmaier with a 3.9123 GPA. A member of the track and swim teams, cast of The Miracle Worker and International Thespian Society, she plans to attend Marygrove College to study forensic science.
Rachel Martin with a 3.8302 GPA. A member of the Ecology Club, Student Council, New Concept Theatre and International Thespian Society, she plans to attend Schoolcraft College then transfer to Wayne State University to major in psychology and minor in history.
Nicole Martindale-Gedert with a 3.7825 GPA. A member of the Model United Nations and Japanese National Honor Society, she plans to attend the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor to study political science and international relations.
Jamie McDougall with a 3.9465 GPA. A member of the choir, he plans to attend Schoolcraft College to study nursing.
John McNally with a 3.9691 GPA. A member of the Student Council, varsity swim team and National Honor Society, he plans to attend the University of Detroit Mercy to study engineering.
James Melendez with a 4.0706 GPA. A member of the Student Council and National Honor Society and a Cougar Cub guide, he plans to attend Henry Ford Community College to study nursing.
Kellyn O'Brady with a 3.9125 GPA. A member of the varsity volleyball and basketball teams, Cougar Cub guide and tutor, she plans to attend Wellesley College and major in pre-medicine with a goal of becoming and orthopedic surgeon.
Megan Pichla with a 4.0442 GPA. A member of the varsity basketball and cross country teams, she plans to attend Schoolcraft College then transfer to Eastern Michigan University to major in a foreign language.
Kimberly Poma with a 3.8809 GPA. A member of the newspaper and Reda and Watch Book Club, Tutor and Cougar Cub guide, she plans to attend Schoolcraft College then transfer to the University of Michigan-Dearborn to major in English to become and English teacher.
Robert Spellman with a 3.8496 GPA. A member of the National Honor Society, basketball team DECA and SADD, he plans to attend Eastern Michigan University to study medicine and become a doctor.

Stephanie Stevens with a 4.0253 GPA. A member of the varsity volleyball team, Cougar Guide and tutor, she plans to attend Oakland University to study nursing.
Kelsey Terry with a 3.714 GPA. She went to the Skill Center for daycare and plans to attend Schoolcraft College to become a daycare teacher.
Thomas Wisniewski with a 4.1731 GPA. A member of the soccer, wrestling, track and tennis teams, Student Council and president of the National Honor Society, he plans to attend the University of Michigan or University of Iowa to study art and political science.
