CENTER - Deanette Jarman, principal at Mark Twain Junior High in Center, has announced the first semester "Student of the Month" recipients.

Each month, students are nominated by faculty, staff and fellow students for this award. A seventh- and eighth-grader is then selected from the nominees to receive this honor. The following is a recap of the winners for the first semester.
