TRUMAN STATE

Several Independence residents were named to the dean`s list for the fall semester at Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo. To be eligible for the dean`s list, students must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average and carry at least 12 credit hours.

Independence students named to the dean`s list, with a perfect 4.0 grade point average, were: Angelia Harrelson, Bonny Mosely, Jason Walker, Jennifer Nieweg, Jennifer Padberg, Michael Johnson and Tracy Kelly.

Other students named to the dean`s list were: Amanda Kliefoth, Angela Zahner, Benjamin Roberts, Daniel Schmidt, Rebecca Gjesfjeld, Sara Riggs and Shahara Timbrook.

WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY

Rachel Cianciolo, Independence, was named to the dean`s list for the fall semester at Washington University in St. Louis. To be named to the dean`s list, students must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average and complete at least 14 units of graded work.

AUGUSTANA COLLEGE

Ashley Thornton, Independence, was named to the dean`s list for the fall semester at Augustana College. To be named to the dean`s list, students must have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average.

OUACHITA BAPTIST

Kammie Bass, Independence, was named to the dean`s list for the fall 1997 semester at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkdelphia, Ark. To benamed to the dean`s list, students must have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average and completed at least 12 academic hours.

PENSACOLA CHRISTIAN Wendy Carpent, Independence, was named to the dean`s list for the fall semester at Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Fla.

NORTHWEST MISSOURI STATE

Heidi Murray, Buckner, was named to the president`s honor roll for the fall semester at Northwest Missouri State University. To be named to the president`s honor roll, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average and complete at least 12 academic hours.
