Indiana University of Pennsylvania (UIP) Announces Fall Dean’s List

Local students have been named to the dean’s list at Indiana University of Pennsylvania for the fall semester.

Amanda Marino, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Marino of 148 Aurilles St., Duquesne, is a senior majoring in elementary education and special education with a reading concentration. She is a graduate of Serra Catholic High School.

A McKeesport Area High School graduate, Sheila List, daughter of Carrie Ruth List of 1513 Wesley St., McKeesport, is a junior elementary education major.

An accounting major, Jason M. Lumpkin, son of Karen Lumpkin of 3307 O’Dair St., McKeesport, is a graduate of McKeesport Area High School.

Christopher Hestin of 108 Southridge Drive, Monroeville, is a graduate of Gateway Senior High School.

He is a music theory and composition major with a concentration in percussion and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hestin.

He received a bachelor’s degree in finance in 1993 from IUP.

A graduate of Gateway High School, Jimit D. Patel of 100 Collingwood Place, Monroeville, is the son of Dinesh and Alka Patel.

Charisse Sarnicola of 154 Westminster Drive, Monroeville, is a junior elementary education major.

She is a graduate of Gateway Senior High School and the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Carmen Sarnicola.

A junior psychology major, Nicole Renee Smith of 931 McBeth Drive, Monroeville is a graduate of Gateway Senior High School and the daughter of Carl and Barbara Kuehn. She is affiliated with Zeta Tau Alpha and Psi Chi.

Miss Smith is enrolled in the psychology honors program conducting two independent studies.

Angela R. Zezza of 628 Tartan Drive, Monroeville, is a senior education of exceptional children major with a dual certification in elementary education. She is a graduate of Gateway Senior High School and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Zezza.

Amanda Feight, daughter of Paul and Nancy Feight of 590 Fourth St., Pitcairn, is a junior art education major. She is a graduate of Gateway Senior High School.

A junior elementary education major, Lisa Kuster of 643 Wall Ave., Pitcairn, is a graduate of Gateway Senior High School.

A graduate of South Allegheny High School, Nicole Lynn Bryner of 1623 New York Ave., Port Vue, is a senior majoring in criminology. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bryner and Pauline A. Bryner.

Mark T. Jamnik, son of Mr. and Mrs. David A. Jamnik of 1719 Diane Merle Drive, North Huntingdon Twp., is a junior marketing major. He is a graduate of Norwin High School.

A graduate of Southmoreland High School, Jeffrey Schaeffer of Ruffs Dale, is the son of Suzanne and Paul Gongaware of Ruffs Dale and William Schaeffer of Santa Barbara, Calif. He is a senior criminology major.
