The Bridge City High School Choir competed in Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest, Monday, May 29th at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.
Sixteen students represented the choir and were awarded 18 medals.
Gold medalists for solo competition were Cassie Caillouet, Dilyn Barborek, Allison Stewart and Haley Tibbitts.
Silver medalists on solo were Devon Armstrong, Carlie Sherwood, Patty Arriola, Brittany Porter, Christine Kendall and Olivia Wright.
Gold medalists for ensembles were Cassie Caillouet, Carlie Sherwood, Devon Armstrong, Courtney Smith, Chelsea Goodman, Christine Kendall, Dilyn Barborek and Lauren Miller.
The group was accompanied by Mrs. Julia Morris and directed by Tina Bernard.
