A total of 113 Lamar University students graduated in Beaumont with honors Saturday (May 13, 2006) during spring commencement at Lamar.
The university conferred about 680 degrees, including two doctorates.
Graduating summa cum laude, with grade-point averages ranging from 3.8 to 4.0, from Orange County were Andrey Tetuyev, Orange; Christopher Briggs and Brady Flores, Bridge City; Elliot Dollar and Randy Skiles, Vidor.
Magna cum laude graduates (GPAs 3.65 to 3.79) include Felicia Carson, Vidor; Joseph Hannan, Kanita Raheja, Heather Richard and Crystal Winfree, Orange; Tara Schrieber, Bridge City.
Cum laude graduates (3.5 to 3.64) from the OC include Ashley Alleman, Bridge City; Jason Montgomery and Matthew Rhone, Orange; and Chasity Viator, Vidor.
