Four West Orange-Stark musicians earned gold medals on their superior performance at the UIL State Solo and Ensemble Contest held at Texas State University in San Marcos on May 30.
Choir students earning this prestigious award on their solo performance were Nick Cook, Kelsey Dardeau and Ezra Thomas.
Ezra Thomas also brought home a gold medal on his superior performance of his snare drum solo.
Additionally, fourteen choir students earned silver medals for their choir solo performance.
